Special Edition Puppies For Dummies with FREE PDF EDITION!

I love the tone and approach. Very can-do, down-to-earth, and supportive. Encourages positive discipline and explains things for new owners. I loved reading it in the first few weeks. However, I've found a few major glitches. While enjoyable and educational to read, it's a terrible reference. The index is lacking: I tried to look up "hand feeding" (which I thought she said she recommends) and it's not there (just food, etc.). She mentions "commercial foraging mats" but then they are not in the recommended purchase section nor are they ever explained (does she mean the fuzzy "snuffle" mats -- don't seem commercial!? Lastly, there are editorial gaffes. She teaches the command for "wait" without ever saying the word "wait." I assume they simply dropped that bullet point but, if the devil is in the details of timing, they better get the details right! In short, 3 stars for a good approach, good tone, and good read ... but frustrating if you want to train your dog right and stick with the training. I hope to they can fix these issues in future editions!?
